2021 Spring 11:00 Pastor's Class - 1 & 2 Peter and Jude (Online)
Back to Calendar
Taught by Rob Norris. Peter writes to encourage Christians in a time of persecution and suffering. Christ’s resurrection and heavenly enthronement are proof that suffering in the will of God leads to certain eternal reward, resting in the sure hope of the return of Jesus. Awaiting his return, Peter and Jude exhort believers to keep themselves in the love of God and fight against the evil of false teachers. Each week, small groups will engage in online discussions based on home study questions prepared in advance. Optional commentary: 1 & 2 Peter and Jude: Understanding the Bible Commentary Series by Norman Hillyer (available from Amazon.com and Christianbook.com). Those enrolled in the Fall Joshua Pastor's Class need not re-register. An email will be sent to all registrants each week with a link to Dr. Norris's pre-recorded lecture. Visit the
